Kapital la te plen ak pousyè k ap monte soti nan kay ak batiman ki efondre. Oken radyo oubyen televizyon pa t travay nan jou ki vinn apre tranbleman tè a (eksepte Signal FM). Kominikasyon pa telefòn te prèske pa possib. Moun ki siviv yo rete dòmi nan lari yo. Lè nou ap gade premye imaj nou jwenn sou Entenèt la nou ka imajine gen anpil moun ki mouri (plis pase 100000 moun).
Christopher Hotel, kote ki kenbe moun nan misyon ONI an Ayiti a, konplètman detui. Otèl Montana tou andomaje.
Ministè Finans, Ministè Travay Piblik (Ministère des Travaux Publics), Ministè Kominikasyon ak Kilti, Palè Jistis, lekòl Nòmal Siperyè (L'Ecole Normale Supérieur), lokay radyo Kiskeya a e latriye… kraze oubyen yo pran gwo domaj.

"POURQUOI ?
"WHY?" It is tragic to see how much anguish and pain can be packed into that simple word. People often ask that question after disaster or tragedy strikes: A hurricane sweeps through a region, leaving death and destruction in its wake. An earthquake reduces a city to rubble. A terrorist attack changes a quiet, routine day into a nightmare of fear and violence. Or an accident injures or takes the life of a loved one.
All too often, the victims include the most innocent and defenseless among us. Recent times have brought more than their share of such disasters, causing many to cry out to God, "Why?" Read more ->
First, it is not wrong to ask why God allows suffering.
Second, it is important to understand that God feels for you in your plight.
Natural disasters strike with little or no warning, and they kill and maim indiscriminately. To some extent, mankind has made such disasters worse by damaging the natural environment and by building in areas prone to earthquakes, floods, and extreme weather.
Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all. – Ecclesiastes 9:11
Some people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Tuesday January 12 by 04:53; 09, local time (21:53:09 UTC), an earthquake of magnitude 7.0"” according to the Richter scale (equivalent to the energy generated by an H-bomb of about 5 megatons) "” hit just about 15 km (10 miles) South West of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. That’s the highest ever for that region since 1770.
